We're happy to announce the dev release of Recurly 7.x-2.x.
Recurly.js's main function is to process billing information through JavaScript without letting the sensitive data touch your servers, thereby reducing your PCI compliance requirements. In the previous version of Recurly.js, there was a good deal of configuration on the Drupal side which was sent to Recurly, and Recurly generated the form itself. Now there is much less setup, but the form is created in Drupal, but submission is handled by the Recurlyjs submodule.
The bulk of the changes are in the Recurlyjs submodule, with an upgrade to use v3 of the Recurly.js library. This version of the Recurly.js library was released a while ago, but a major overhaul in how the library itself functions meant a major overhaul of the module.
Check out the change notes and the project page for more updates, and please direct any questions to the issue queue.
If you are interested in this project, we'd appreciate help testing this release, as well as patches in the issue queue. This release was sponsored by TheaterMania and Chromatic.
