GLAM Institutions

Guiding Principles

The GLAM industry refers to institutions and professionals associated with Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums. These cultural organizations are dedicated to the preservation, curation, and dissemination of cultural heritage, knowledge, and art.

The GLAM sector plays a key role in knowledge sharing, cultural preservation, education, and public engagement, both in physical spaces and increasingly through digital platforms.

We partner with GLAM institutions to integrate Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems with Drupal so they can efficiently manage, protect, and share their digital collections, ensuring that cultural heritage and knowledge remain accessible and preserved in the digital age.

We are Drupal technology partners to institutions running Drupal in the following spaces:

  • Galleries: Focus on displaying and promoting art, often contemporary, through exhibitions and collections.
  • Libraries: Provide access to information, books, and digital resources, serving as centers for education, research, and community engagement.
  • Archives: Preserve historical records and documents, ensuring long-term access to important data for research and reference.
  • Museums: Collect, protect, and exhibit objects of historical, scientific, or artistic value, educating the public and preserving heritage.
